|Description:||New Carriage Washing Machine brought into use at Landore on the formation of the former Down Goods Loop and the former Down (Vivians) Siding.
Access to the new line at the Landore end via a connection from the Down Main ahead of PT262, slewed to meet the new line.
Landore end of the former Down Goods out of use. Swansea end of the loop, previously clipped up, restored to use.
New route on PT262 new route to CWM line. Route indicator removed.
PT179/279/379/479 (Swansea Station Starters) new stencil indication 'CW' for routes towards the CWM line.
PT543 new route towards the washer.
PT464/541/545 on the CWM line brought into use. Clearance of 541 pre-sets 545.
Separate chemical application and rinse aprons provided, washing only available in the down direction, although line bi-directional. Maximum speed through washer is 3mph down 10mph up.
