|Description:||Absolute block working on Up and Down Mains between Pontypridd Junction, Maesmawr, Walnut Tree Junction and Radyr Junction abolished and replaced by TCB between Pontypridd Junction and Radyr Junction.
Maesmawr Signal Box and Walnut Tree Junction Signal Boxes closed and all signals recovered.
All new signals installed between Pontypridd and Radyr, plated 'VR' (Valleys - Radyr) and controlled from a panel in the existing Radyr Junction Signal Box. All provided with AWS and SPTs to Radyr Jn.
Small reduction in speed in two locations.
PJ.60 made 3-aspect and repositioned 300 yards nearer to Pontypridd.
Pontypridd Junction Up Distant Signal PJ.1R recovered.
Signalled routes provided over facing crossover at Taffs Well to allow up trains to cross into down platform and turn-back from there.
Gelynis O/A Crossing fitted with miniature red and green lights.
Radyr Down Distant R.1 recovered.
New distant signal provided beneath up section signal R.59, numbered VR.518R, repeating the first MAS signal ahead, VR.518.
White diamond plates fitted to RJ.3 and RJ.60.
All main arms converted from oil lamp to electric lamp at Radyr Junction, Llandaff Loop Junction and Radyr Quarry Junction.
